Don,
“Some people seem to specialize in doing thoughtful deeds. Before you ask, they understand. Your problems and your needs. They help because they want to, They find joy in being kind. And making others happy is the first thing on their minds. They make this world a better place by practicing the art of reaching out to others and by giving…from the heart.” Amanda Bradley
Thank you so much – May you always be as happy as you make others!
This card says it all! You truly made our wedding day so much more special! You really have a wonderful gift at making people feel special and at ease! We hope you have a wonderful holiday! All the best to you in 2010. Merry Christmas!
Love,
Matt & Cara Gallagher

Don,
You will be receiving a note in the mail from me, but I just wanted to personally wish you a Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year.
I am sad that we won’t be working together anymore – it seems like our time was cut short.
People can’t stop raving about the wedding – the food, the service, the ambiance, etc., I couldn’t appreciate what you did for us any more!!!
Please stay in touch!!!

Don,
We can’t thank you enough! We appreciate all of your help in the planning process and with the day of craziness! Having my sister in and out of the hospital was quite emotional for me. We know chicken broth is a strange and taxing request and we truly are grateful to you and your staff for helping to make her as comfortable as possible.
That being said, we had a wonderful time and everything was great!
Many thanks!

Once again, just wanted to reiterate how wonderful it was working with you through our wedding process. Being a wedding planner myself, I often come across pretty places, with decent food and good service. It's not often, (or ever) however, that one finds an absolutely stunning venue, with fabulous food and excellent service!
Clark 's Landing was everything you promised in construction and more. I am so grateful to have gotten the opportunity to have gotten married at such a stellar location with such fabulous staff. Everyone from you and Don, down to the wait staff and bartenders, were exceptional.
And with 100% chance of rain that day, I appreciate whoever called in the sun for my ceremony and dockside pictures! If that was you, or you know where to find Mother Nature - thanks! Haha!
I know I was a total bother to you during our planning process with 1,001 questions, but I really appreciate you going out of your way to calm my nerves and alleviate my stress. In 10, 20, and 50 years from now, Matt and I will be back to renew our vows overlooking the Manasquan River , again. Should we book a date now?? ;p
Thank you so, so, so much again!

When daughter number two got engaged and started looking for a venue for her wedding, I knew it was going to be a challenge. She was a wedding planner and knew EXACTLY what she wanted and didn’t want. She started looking on her own and was immediately disappointed with everything she saw. But then………………….she fell in love. She went with her mother in law to be to Clark’s Landing. It wasn’t even built, but the pictures of what it was going to be had Sheenah in a tizzy. This was it; this was where she was getting married. She didn’t care about the price; she didn’t care about anything except this was where she was getting married. The date she wanted was booked, The wedding was going to be in six months. We couldn’t imagine how we could plan and pull off a wedding in six months. Sheenah started her search for photographers, videographers, invitations, etc. All you had to do was build the place and they would come. She called you ever y week to find out how things were progressing. We travelled from South Jersey for over an hour multiple times to see walls go up and floors go down. We saw gazebos go down and chandeliers go up. We watched as Sheenah’s dream venue became a reality. The date came closer, Sheenah was getting crazier, the linens weren’t the right color, the napkins didn’t match, the tables were too crowded, the crying began. Don soothed her and pacified her. He promised her everything would be perfect. August 22 the weather forecast was for 85% chance of thunderstorms all day. The storms happened all over New Jersey. Not one drop of rain fell in Point Pleasant. Sheenah went to the beach. The ceremony was outside. The reception was inside. The food was incredible. The service was impeccable. The view was perfect. The wedding was the talk of the town for days and days after. You did what you all said you would do. You made our daughter’s dream come true. You made her wedding day perfect. We can never thank you all enough for everything you promised to do and did to pull off a magical day for Sheenah and Matt. We thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.

Nicole,
I wanted to thank you again for making our day so special.
Our friends and families have not stopped talking about how beautiful the facility is, how delicious the food was and how friendly the staff were. The cocktail hour was just perfect and the banquet room was breathtaking. Clarks Landing is truly a beautiful place in an exquisite location with staggering views over the river. It was fantastic to arrive by boat with the sunset as a backdrop. We got some amazing photos by the dock and on the open veranda as well. As this was the first wedding, we were expecting some teething problems but things went very smoothly and the bartenders/wait staff etc. acted with extreme professionalism throughout the night.
To ALL Clarks employees, we cannot thank you enough. Nothing was too much trouble. All the staff, (including the builders), were so friendly, patient and helpful. Especially you, Nicole.
I remember when (my wife!) Nicole and I first met you over at Clarks Landing and the construction had barely even started. We were to be the first wedding to be held there and you both guided and reassured us. We both knew right there and then that this was going to be a special place. At the time it was a construction site but we knew instantly that it was the right choice, simply because of you. It was refreshing not to be spoken to like a "potential client", but spoken to openly and honestly. All the way through the different stages of construction, you kept us updated and were never evasive. You have been incredibly supportive in ALL aspects of our wedding, often going out of your way to help us and be there for us even though it was way beyond your responsibilities, particularly with difficult vendors. Again, thank you so much for all you have done for us. You have re invented the phrase "above and beyond".

Dear Amy,
Selecting a place to hold your wedding reception is both exciting and overwhelming all at the same time! Our wedding planning would not have been so successful if it wasn’t for Amy’s kind nature and professionalism. One Saturday, just a few weeks after our engagement, we took an initial tour of the construction site with Amy. She walked us through the construction, providing us with every detail of the process and history behind Clarks Landing. We felt more comfortable searching for a wedding facility that was a family-owned and operated business.
As we toured the construction site, we could sense Amy’s enthusiasm for the process of building and developing a plan for the Clarks Landing facility. Amy explained every inch of the floor plan as we toured the site allowing us to visualize our dream wedding in such a beautiful setting. Throughout our experience, Amy made us feel so comfortable by explaining every option available to us including: sunset photographs, selected features of the menu, seating arrangements, slide show application, etc. We also noted Amy’s experience with planning weddings at previous venues and her attention to detail.
Following our tour of Clarks Landing, Amy reviewed the place settings and flower arrangements with us. During the construction process, Amy also discussed the upholstery of the chairs, the type of chairs at the reception, table design, and layouts. She also met with each of our families to discuss our options for the wedding reception. Amy was patient with answering our questions and securing our date for next summer.
Since we decided to hold our wedding reception at Clarks Landing, Amy has been very accommodating by giving us follow up tours, e-mail updates, and invitations to stop by and take tours at our convenience. With Amy’s help, it was easy to see that Clarks Landing was the perfect place for our wedding!

Dear Nicole, We've dreamed of our upcoming day for so long, that choosing the best reception venue was most crucial! After surfing the web for hours and hours, searching for the perfect venue to match our "very selective taste"..we came across Clark's Landing Yacht Club!!
Coming from South Jersey, we always ventured to the southern shore points and even had appointments to view venues in Avalon and Cape May. Clark's Landing was our very first viewing though. After meeting with you and discussing our details and ideas, we canceled our appointments that day and booked our date right away! Even during the construction phase, we could envision just how spectacular it would be with... its dramatic architectural design, varied menu choices, updated technological abilities for the sound system & photo presentation, to the design of a round room (no one will be left in the corner!), the breathtaking views & ambiance, to our arrival to the reception via yacht...need I say more!! It will certainly be a day to remember! Thank you for showing us around, working with us through the details and answering all of our questions. Every day I come up with a new idea or detail for our wedding at Clark's Landing. We cannot WAIT for the big day! Thank you again for all of your help!

Oh Nicole - I loved it!!!! I am so excited again about the wedding - we haven't even talked about it lately because too much other stuff in life has been bombarding us, but I now have a new resurgence of excitement. The place looks even better than anticipated - I love the ceilings, the round wall, the dance floor, the open kitchen downstairs - the windows - everything!!!!!!!! I knew it was right from the beginning. I can't wait to see it again in a few weeks with Joe. His parents are visiting us this weekend and we were going to drive down and show them the outside, so now I can describe the inside to them too. Talk to you soon and I will set up an appointment with you!

Hi Nicole, Thank you so much for a fantastic presentation! You are the first person that really took the time to go over everything with us and we have looked at so many places. It really meant a lot to us. We are very excited that we have finally found the right place!! I will talk to my parents, but from what I understand, my dad will most likely be the one to stop in there with the contract and deposit.

Dear Nicole, Thank you so much for all of the information concerning our wedding. Joe and I are very excited about having it at Clark's Landing and I know what helped us make that decision was YOU!!! The place we feel is very much like us and we wanted to reflect this to our guests. I know that you will do everything in your power to create the most memorable day for us and we are so appreciative. After waiting so long to get married, we want it to be a special time and 10/10 seems to be the answer. Looking forward to working with you and seeing the progress at Clark's!! Please keep in touch and tell George that you are the best!!!

Planning a wedding can be both exciting and stressful. Two complete opposite emotions that stem from a number of causes. When should the date be? What will our theme be? Most importantly, where will we have it? After trying to answer these looming questions, the one that was answered almost instantaneously was the where question. Water-front venues are hard to come by these days as the demand is high and the price can be even higher. To our luck, we stumbled upon the Clark’s Landing advertisement one day while reading the newspaper. The minute I saw the website, I called. The first person I spoke to was Nicole. Ironically, once I mentioned my name she remembered seeing my fiancée’s and my picture in the announcements of that day’s newspaper. With a face to match the phone call with, she talked to me in detail about Clark’s new wedding facility and promptly emailed me all the information for us to look over. After reviewing the paperwork, we called back to make an appointment to see it in person. Nicole showed and explained the venue in great detail, from the blue prints, to the carpet samples, to even taking us on a walking tour of the construction zone where it will soon stand. It was truly magnificent. Even as just a foundation, we knew that it was where we wanted to have our wedding. Even months after booking, we still receive frequent emails and pictures that keep us updated on everything that is going on. Every new picture makes the wedding day seem closer and closer. I can’t thank Nicole and all of the Clark’s Landing staff enough for being so welcoming and amicable during the planning stages of our wedding.
